Visit to see Santa

Well yesterday I took the kids to see Santa. I know it is a little early but I can't stand the crowds and long lines. We got there and there was only 4 kids in front of us...not to bad. After that we played in the fake snow at the mall. It is really neat, I want to get the kids some but it is very expensive. I wonder if they will have a after Christmas sale. LOL

Elias wanted to use some left over hair color from Halloween to have red hair like his mommy. He looks pretty cute with red hair. This boy really likes to ham it up for the camera...as you can see.

Tina Turner Hair

Okay so I took a picture so everyone could see how crazy my hair has been. Everyday I wake up my hair is crazy and standing straight up. The girl who cut my hair gave me way to many bangs. In the past I would cry at how horrible my hair looks...now I just laugh and try to pretend looking like a troll doll is the latest style. So here's to hoping my hair grows out fast.

Miss Eliana turned 8...we had a fashion party !

Well yesterday the 18th was Eliana's birthday and we had a great time celebrating it with family and friends. It is always so much fun to see how much the kids love the parties. However I know this will be the last time we do a dress-up party for Miss Eliana. I think she may be getting too old now. When they turn 8 years old they call them tweens. Not a girl but not yet a teen. I feel a little sad, but wow how proud we are to have such a smart and wonderful daughter. She is and will always be our little gift from God.

Make way for Christmas

Yeah... I know Christmas is still 6 weeks away but guess who got there tree up. Yes, I do have to much free time. I had to move around my furniture to make it all fit. I do however really like my new tree. I wanted to post some pictures so Mr. Andy could see our new tree.

Here are the kids school pictures too funny how big they look. Elias is in pre-k and loves school. Eliana is in 2nd greade and is on the A honor roll. We are so proud of them both.

It's not how much you spend

Wow I just had to post this because it was a real eye opener for me. We have always spoiled the kids with tons of Christmas gifts...but this year we have decided to only give 3 each. If it is good enough for baby Jesus it is plenty for our little angels. Well I have been feeling like the 3 gifts have got to be expensive really nice gifts because they are only getting the 3. God has opened my eyes in a big way to see it's not how much you spend that makes a gift special. The saying that the kids play with the box more than the toy is really not that off. I went to Goodwill yesterday and bought a book for Eliana knowing she is are little book worm. I didn't think much of it...just another book. However the kids thought it was the best gift in the entire world. All 3 kids played non-stop for 3 hrs straight with this book. It was so cute. It really helped me to see it is more about the thought of what your child personally likes than whats the latest and greatest holiday toy is.
