Skating Rink

Well as a reward for the kids making straight A's I took them to the Skating Rink on what I thought was Christian music night. However they had not updated there website and once inside we realized it was teen night...oh joy! The music was not what I cared to have the kids subjected too but we stayed and had a good time. Eliana has only been skating like 4 times prior and this was Elias's very 1st time to try and skate. He was a little moody in the beginning because he fell down like 2 times...which I tried to explain was awesome for his 1st time..he did not seem to care..lol. Then a really nice boy working there gave him a pep talk and after that he did great. I really think he only fell like 4 times top the entire night. It was funny to be back at the skating rink on a Friday night that is what I use to do back home every single weekend from the age of 9-13. It really made me realize how fast my life is going by..oh well I just hope we can go more with the kiddos because they had a really great time. We will however need to be sure to bring thicker hig socks for the kids because Elias got a really big blister.

No No Baby

My little Monster

Well my sweet baby is starting to become a little bit of a monster...well not really but he is into everythingand becoming very demanding. He has been really fussy due to teething but has been doing much better. He wants to stop eating baby food and move onto eating what we eat instead. I have been giving in and giving him more of what we eat but worry about his tummy getting upset. I think most people move the baby to thicker baby food however he gags and hates thick textured baby food. Either way he is very healthy and growing as needed so I guess I won't worry to much.Enjoy the pics of our adorable little monster.

The kiddos

The kids took a part of Ethan's slide to make a boat for the baby. They were pretending he was baby Indiana Jones...never a dull day at our house..lol. It does seem that Ethan has a daring side that's for sure.

Elias got some cool Roller Blades

Elias scored him some cool new Roller blades at Good Will the other day. He has been really doing well with learning how to skate in the house..lol. He did take them outside the other day to give them a try and he stayed up the entire time. I hope I can get a babysitter and take him and Eliana skating very soon at the roller rink near the house. I know he will be able to skate much better on a smooth surface. I will try to get some video when we do make it to the skating rink. I can't get over how big my kids are all getting :(

Look Who's Walking

Ethaniel started walking a little before Christmas and wow does he have it down now. Our little guy is fast and into everything now. I bought him some really nice walking shoes for his extremely wide foot. I have noticed him walking even better with his new shoes. I can't get over he will be a year next month. He is so much fun and has made this last year easier to get through with Philip being gone. He is always putting a smile on our face and making us laugh.

Baby Its Cold Outside

I just had to post how cute and funny Ethaniel and his great aunt looked all bundled up to endure the cold winter weather. The funny part is we ended having to take the coat off to be able to even get him in the car seat. I could not buckle him up with this giant jacket. He also could not walk in his big coat...pretty funny!

Gingerbread Cookies

Thank you Mimi for the best Christmas treats ever!!! I wanted to share how much the kids each enjoyed the gingerbread cookies. We need the recipe as the kids will need them each Holiday season. I know Ethaniel enjoyed his very 1st Gingerbread cookie very much..lol.

Pictures From November that I forgot

Well I guess I really need to get these pictures of mine organized as I thought I'd posted all the pictures I took in November but just found more. We had my niece came stay with us for a week and the girls had a great time time together. Most of the other pictures are of the kids just being cute around the house. Wow I can not get over how fast the months are flying by. Ethaniel will be a year in Feb. and it has been a year this month since we came back from Africa. Well hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and I know 2011 is going to bring some much needed joy to our family. It is such a blessing to know that our family will be all together very soon.
