Butter Ball Baby

Well I knew Ethaniel was large but he is already 16lbs at 2 1/2 month and wearing mostly 6 months clothing. I wonder if he is going to thin out like Elias did or keep with being a little on the chubby side. I love how cute fat babies are...it is the only time the bigger the thighs the better. He is doing all kids of moving around and is so strong. Every night I but him down on his back but find him in a different position in the morning. He also surprises me with how much he tries to talk and his laughter is contagious. Eliana and Elias love to make him laugh and smile. Eliana has been helping me out so much and even Elias is holding him now that the baby is bigger. The only problem is Ethaniel is very heavy,so the helping hands don't last too long...lol.

Stud Muffin

I have fallen madly in love with this little guy! He looks at me with such love in his eyes. Oh and when he smiles and laughs it makes my heart melt. He is almost 10 weeks and is so active. He has become so spoiled and will now cry if you even lean over to set him down. It is really cute but at the same time is killing my back. I just felt like posting some more recent pictures of my little man. I got to show his daddy how big he is growing.

Easter In Austin

We finally got all 6 of the kids together for the Easter holiday. It was crazy seeing that many kids total under on roof. They had a great time seeing their cousins and played outside for most of the time. My sister's neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt. By the way when did pushing other kids over and out of the way to reach down in front of you to grab eggs become an Easter Egg "Hunt". The kids don't have to even try to search for them anymore. I guess I just think it is sad how it lost the fun of just being smart and finding the egg. What do you think kids would do if all there was were the regular dyed eggs actually hidden. It would be funny to see the kids reactions. It was really nice to have all the kids together at last.

Big Kids

There is nothing like having a baby to point out to you how fast the other kids have grown. It is just sad how fast it all goes by. I can see why some women have like 6 kids...although it is just not for me...lol. I might consider one more but then that is max. We were planning to have a fourth so Ethaniel would have a sibling closer in age. I know Eliana and Elias having each other is such a blessing. With all the moving and stress that takes places in a military family life it seems very important. By the time Ethanial is 6 Eliana will be sixteen and driving(scary thought) and I am pretty sure 13 year old Elias is going to be off doing his thing. However raising Ethaniel without his daddy has very much opened my eyes to the fact that if we ever did get pregnant again there is a good chance I might have to do it all over again on my own. Hats off to single moms they having the toughest job I could ever imagine. I just have to take care of the kids but can't imagine holding down a job as well.
