Elias's Tiki Birthday Bash

Well Elias loved having his Tiki party. I decorated up the playroom really cool.
We all had a great time being together. The kids enjoyed the water slide...along with the trampoline and other outside toys. It was funny to hear everyone talk about how kid oriented our house is. We feel very blessed to have such a great yard for the kids and the play room. There we 8 kids...just the right number to keep the party from getting to crazy. The adults had some fun frozen drinks and well...tons of food. I ordered 7 pizzas and we had some left overs for lunch. I loved knowing how much joy his party gave him. It is so hard to see him grow so fast. I know Andy was very sad not to be here for the party. He has been to both kids birthday parties since they were born. It looks like he may have to miss Eliana's too. I know there are lots of pictures but I liked them all. Well I better start brainstorming for Eliana's party. :)

Time for another post

Well we had a very calm relaxing day today. It was Elias's 4th Birthday..but we are having a big party for him on Saturday so we didn't do much in the way of celebrating. We sang him happy birthday he opened up his present from his daddy(which he loved daddy). I took him shopping at Toys R us. We came home and cooked dinner together. It has been so great how far my kids have come with trying new foods. They eat much better now than they did before. I can't wait for Andy to see them eat so good. I know he is going to be so thrilled as this has always been very stressful for us. I slept alot of the 1st part of the day. I went out with my little cousin the night before. It was great fun...but I think I am getting ready to go into retirement no more party girl...the next day with the kids is a real killer. Well enjoy the pics of the kids and my new decor in the kitchen. I told my friend Tiff I would post a picture, because it makes such a huge difference from not having any decor above the cabinets prior.

Back From Camp

Well not to much took place today except getting Eliana from summer camp. She had a great time and made friends. They went horse back riding, fishing(Eliana caught 4 fish)swimming...and much more. Next year I think she will go the full 6 days because she had lots of fun....now I just need to find a summer camp for Elias! LOL.

P.S. Elias is going through the I want to dress myself stage. Well It is hard but I know he needs to be able to express himself...so I turn the other cheek. We made his shirt as a fun little art project and the really shiny cowboy boots are rain boots. That's why they are so darn shiny. Yee-haw only in Texas.

Kids to good to be true

Today was the day I went and watched the kids for my babysitting co-op group. Well I was there for 5 hours and these kids were beyond good. It was almost strange to be around. They were so quite and did not try anything to push my buttons. It made me feel like my kids must be really crazy and out of control. Why are some kids so well behaved while others test you ever way they can? I would really like to know this moms secret if she has one. Or maybe it is really just all about the personality of the kids. I hope and pray one day my kids and home could be that calm. After that we came home I passed out on the couch...got up rushed off to the gym and got in a little workout time. Got home ate some food and then decided to cut Elias's pants and jeans into to shorts,to get more use out of them. In doing so I made our little puppy a very cute denim dress. As you can see from the picture she is pretty darn cute in her little dress. Well maybe tomorrow there will be more excitement in my blog writings. We shall see what comes of that.

Just me being silly :)

Well anyone that knows me knows that well I can be very silly at times. Today as I was getting ready I put on a new shirt...which I thing is maybe just a tiny bit too young for me to wear. So anyways I thought to my self I need to do something to look younger that's when I started playing around with my hair and came up with this style. For you who think I am crazy enough to go out with my hair like this...sorry but I did not. Well hope you enjoy my very silly pictures. It looks like I went to Libby Lu for a makeover LOL

4th of July Sales

I have not posted in a long time so I thought I'd share about our 4th this year. Eliana went off to camp for the 1st ever. It about 15 mins from the house but still a big thing for us, I forgot to take the camera when I dropped her off so no pictures. I was of coarse not happy I ran off and forgot my camera:( Then me and Elias went with family to the huge mega Dillards clearance center. They had everything marked 75% off and today an extra 50% on top of that. Well I have never been so overwhelmed by a store in my life. It was too much for my little eyes and brain to take in. I didn't know what to look at or try on. I think if I ever go back there it will be 1st thing in the morning to avoid the crowds and plan to spent 6 or more hours there. No kidding!! I gave up on trying to think of what I wanted to look at and just bought back to school clothes for Eliana. I got all the clothes in the picture for $35.00 There is like 5 tops 2 dresses and 4 pants. The pants were a $1.50 each. This what I call a total score.
