Elias and his best friend "Isaiah"

Well a few nights ago Elias had his 1st sleep over, he asked Isaiah over and they had great fun. They played Mario kart Wii together. The two of them are beyond competitive with each other. Eliana and Elias got boxing gloves for Christmas...well I thought the boys would enjoy duking it out. They were hilarious playing with the boxing gloves. I could not resist recording them in action. Philip joined in on the fun with wrestling and his ninja skills...lol. As you will see from the videos all the boys had a great time.

The latest and the greatest

I have so many different pictures of the kids to post but wanted to add these today. Thanks to the Plunkett family{my sister & family} the kids got adorable new build a bear outfits. The kids were very excited and we of coarse had to get photos taken. We also went bowling the other day and I got the cute picture of Elias bowling. The video of Elias is a song he sings which helps to teach him the states...it is great!

30 and looking great

Well I thought I should post a picture now that I am in my 30's. Not much has changed I actually feel I look a bit better than I did a few years back. I have more style and definitely more smarts. I really thought 30 was so old and now that I am 30 it doesn't seem old at all. I guess getting older and wiser yet staying a hottie is not all that bad...LOL I feel very blessed to have this wonderful life God has blessed me with. P.S. Babe thanks for my sophisticated new purse!

Christmas 2008 in Yuma AZ

We had a nice Christmas this year,but we still missed family and friends back in TX. The kids got to open 3 gifts on Christmas Eve. We went to a simple church service and ate Chili at home. Christmas morning we watched the kids open their presents. They were very excited and thankful which was nice to see. Philip completely spoiled me this year!! I guess he knew turning 30 this year was a big deal. He got me some diamond earrings and a beautiful coach purse. I felt bad because he didn't get much ,do to the fact he had bought his new TV prior to Christmas. Plus the only other thing he wants is a Harley Davidson"not this year". Later that evening we hosted a dinner party with several couples and played some fun games. Philip got me a birthday cake and everyone sang me happy birthday. It was neat I have not had anyone other than family sing me happy birthday since I was a kid. When your birthday is on Christmas you can sometimes get a little cheated. However my family and friends are always so sweet to make sure my birthday doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks for my cards and gifts!!! Overall this Christmas went much greater than expected for being here in the desert.

Fun Family Weekend

We have been having a great weekend! The 1st thing we did was attend Philip's Christmas party with the Marines. It was very pretty and the food was very good. The kids had a blast because we won all kinds of things in the raffle drawings. In all we won like 5 things and then the kids got all kinds of really big goodies...like puppy house shoes,build a bear, floam,hot wheels...and more. They were thrilled and Elias was beyond cute and excited when he won the skate board. I of coarse am very unhappy....for safety reasons. Then we went to Jingle Jam on the base and saw Santa. after that we went to go check out a house that was decorated for Christmas...I took video to show how cool it was. The man is on his roof dressed as Santa almost every night. We went to take the kids to play in 50 tons of fake snow on main st. It was fun just a little dangerous with all the flying ice. Eliana got hurt when she got hit in the head. After that we took off to come home and get warm. Then since I am a lazy mom...instead of baking cookies and cutting out shapes...I took a short cut. We took the plain round cookies which came in a tin of cookies and decorated them up. The kids had fun and it only took like 15 minutes. Well to be truthful I didn't want yummy homemade cookies that I would eat tons of. I can turn into a real cookie monster. However these cookies look a little to covered in stuff for me.

I can not seem to find a picture for Christmas 2006. We had just bought the house in Spring just one week prior to that Christmas... I know there are pictures somewhere so if I find one I will add it in later. It is so crazy to see how much they have grown and changed over the last 6 Christmas. We are so blessed to have such beautiful children.

Elias's Christmas Program

Elias had his school Christmas play last Friday. He was so excited to get to wear his suit. He has a funny love for suits....just like his daddy. I loaded some videos to show how cute he was up on stage. He got bored really fast and was ready to come home. Elias was suppose to stay at school the rest of the day after the play was over. However he sweet talked his way into to my car...and came home early. It is so hard for me to tell my little guy no.

Christmas PJ's

I wanted to show some of the pics I took of the kids in there cute matching Christmas PJ's. It is sad to think that soon instead of the kids thinking how cool it is to having matching pj's they will most likely say no way in the near future. They are growing so fast and are the best of buds most of the time. I want to try to post some pictures in order of each Christmas to show how fast they grow each year.

Trying to find fun in Yuma

We have been having a really hard time trying to find fun in Yuma...this is some of the fun things to do in Yuma. We find our self making trips to wal-mart for entertainment. Daddy and Elias love to play Guitar Hero. We also stopped to feed the ducks behind the fence. We call them the prison ducks because they are stuck behind the fence.
