Well we celebrated Mr. Elias turning 8 with an early pirate birthday party. It was fun and I think the kids really enjoyed playing the old fashion birthday games we played. It was so very hot outside but we just kept spaying the kids down with the water hose. Our super sweet friends the Timmerman's made Elias the coolest homemade pirate ship cake. This was by far one of the best cakes I have ever had...the homemade chocolate frosting was so delicious....thank you again!!!!! We had the kids build islands out of boxes and then they got to try to destroy them with their cannon balls. The pop the other pirate's cannon ball games was funny to watch...Eliana said this was her favorite. We had a sword fight in the sprinklers and some other really fun games.Elias and Eliana are really going to miss their friends. It was so great to have Andy here to celebrate with us as a family!!!
