Wiener Dog Races

We went this weekend to the wiener dog races in Buda,TX. Near Austin where my sister lives, so we stayed with them and had a great time. The wiener dog races were funny there was over 600 dogs signed up to race. Then they have costume contest...which where so funny! I took just a few pictures and wanted to post them. I will say that the drive up was not great fun as the little dog Jewels got car sick 3 times. The picture of them driving in the car in the cage says it all Enjoy!!

Disney World

We are so thrilled with how great the trip was. We had so much fun and got to do everything we wanted while at Disney. Eliana loved the haunted house along with splash mountain and the 3-D shows. We meet every princess except Snow white and Ariel. Elias was so great for the car ride there and back which was a great surprise because I thought he would be going crazy being stuck in the car. He loved the fast track ride which goes super fast(race car). He was so happy to meet all the characters and really loved the shows. I think Lion King was his favorite. The weather was great and the lines we very short. By far the best family trip we have every had, Now we will be making plans for more family trips now that we know the kids handle travel so well. Yard work is done....thank God.

Well as soon as we got back from Disney we got straight to work on the yard. It was in major need of work. we are thrilled about the results. I will post Disney pictures soon. Approx 50 bags of mulch later and 20hrs of hard labor.

More Outfits I fixed up for Eliana and Elias

Well here goes the latest and greatest of the little outfits I have put together. I think I will be taking a break from sewing and get organized for our Disney trip. we take off in about 2 weeks. I can't wait but no that I need to get organized before we head off.

MOnkey Business

I wanted to try and learn to sew shorts so with the help of a good...very understanding friend who explained to me via phone I made my 1st pair of shorts ever. They were very easy and I plan to make more. The funny part is I had left over material so I decided to sew my little nephew, Liam some shorts as well. He is one so I guessed on how much fabric and such. Well I just knew the shorts where too small when I got done. So Elias decided his very special Monkey named Andy could use a pair of shorts. He keeps reminding me that Andy the monkey really loves the shorts and loves me too! I will however attempt again to make a pair for little Liam...but for now the shorts have gone to the monkey :)

My little dancer

Well miss eliana loves the little tutu I made her to go with her Mickey shirt. At first she was not to thrilled to be posing for more pictures...but then she started really acting like a beautiful dancer. I can not get over how fast she is growing!!!

My new chairs

I just love my new chairs...they make the living room look so formal.
