The Boxes are Unpacked

Well I unpacked all 107 boxes that they shipped all the way from Africa. It took me 2 days of non-stop going but it is nice to be done with. Thankfully my mom was here and took care of Ethaniel while I got it all done.It was hard knowing we are hopefully getting it all packed back up in less than 2 months...lol. I just thank God we are not pack rats or my life would stink even more with all these moves. There are some things missing but nothing I can't live without or I can't think of it right now. We did have some damage to Eliana';s bedding it is torn and looks somewhat burned. The other thing was our TV projector. I think for all the way from Africa we are pretty lucky. I just wish so bad it had not taken over 4 months to get our stuff. The kids are so happy to have their toys and rooms set up. I took a few pictures of the house, but they are turning out really dark. I hope to get some much better pictures before I list the house in October.

1st Word

Well the fact that daddy has been stuck all the way in Africa is not keeping his little guy from learning to say daddy first. I think it is so adorable the way he says it...he melts my heart. He talks to his daddy on the computer with video and we are so grateful that he is able to see Andy's face. Funny enough Ethaniel does manage to say momma, but only when he is crying...lol.

Trying hard to crawl

My little man is trying very hard to learn to crawl...I for one am thrilled he has yet to master the crawl...lol. I just know life is going to get a lot more hectic once he does. Ethan has the Marine belly crawl down as well as a perfect yoga move called the downward dog. He is already bringing himself up and standing so who knows maybe he will just kinda skip learning to crawl. I just love watching him explore and learn. He is so cute when he is trying so hard to do something and then you just see the light bulb go off.

Ethaniel is now 7 months

Our little guy is growing way too fast. I have been having a blast with him. Ethaniel is so funny and loving. It has been so nice to be blessed with a baby!! I love that this time I know to appreciate every second with him. I wanted to post some pictures showing him getting all ready to crawl and playing. He is now crawling pretty good I bought a giant play pen to put him in to keep him safe while I get things done around the house it is coming in the mail. I didn't care to invest a lot of money in baby proofing the house for only 2 months. I figure I can take the play pen with us when we move to help keep him safe at our new place. I hope he does not mind doing 2 months in the pen...lol. The Elmo he is so crazy about is the one Elias had as a baby. It was very sweet because Elias bought it to Africa just for the baby. I only allowed them to bring 6 stuff animals and he thought of his brother...too cute! P.S. The wig was just a joke now worries about it being a cross dressing issue.

My Cat In the Hat

My mom bought the cutest little cat in the Hat outfit for the baby. We had to take pictures in it right away because he was almost too big for the outfit. I will put it away for baby #4 if we go down that road. Ethaniel is getting very mobile and really does not sit still for pictures anymore. It is going to be hard to get his picture from now on. Which is going to be hard on me since I love to take his picture all the time.

Eliana & Elias

I wanted to post the two cute bears that Eliana and Elias made at build a bear the other day when we went. I think it is sweet that even though the kids are getting older they still love their stuff animals. Elias made a Elmo when he was like one at build a bear and now he has passed it onto Ethaniel who loves him. It is sad to think this will most likely be our last build a bear the kids will make. Elias picked a camo bear who he named Sniper...and then dressed him as Darth Vader from Star Wars. Eliana picked a spunky bright bear covered in peace signs. Peace signs are all the rage with 5th grade girls. The bear is named Ellie...lol.
