The coolest thing in Yuma Az

So I wanted to post some pictures of what I think is the coolest thing to do with the kiddos. There is this park and one very small Chucky cheese in this town. It has been a real shock for us coming from Houston where there is more to do than you can even get done. Eliana and Elias were very spolied living in a major city like Houston. They do love this park and it is extra special to them due to the fact that Andy and other Marines help to construct this amazing play park for the kids. The morning we went it was not very crowded at all which is nice. It can get pretty crazy with tons of kids running every which way.

Pumpkin Patch

Friday night we went to the pumpkin patch at our church. It was great fun for the kids. They had great fun in the maze of hay and the old fashion games. Elias was really tired and starting crying over the smallest of things. We still managed to enjoy the evening and get some really great pictures. Elias is a knight while Eliana decided to wear her pop star outfit. We kinda went a little over board on her make-up but she loved it!!

I bought Elias some boots and here he is showing them off with a cowboy hat that is way to big...but still adorable as always.

Our little girl is becoming a young lady :(

Wow Eliana is growing way fast. It is so hard for me and her dad to think that she will be turning 9 on Nov.18th. Eliana is such a wonderful reader...the teacher says she is above grade level. She always has her nose in a book. We of coarse are thrilled she loves to read so much! Eliana loves science as well. I really wonder where she gets her love for this subject. It is funny all the things she teaches me and her brother everyday. We are going to take her to Disneyland for her birthday this year. we had a blast when we went to Disney world back in April. I plan to give her a small birthday party before we take off. I will be sure to post pictures of both events.
